Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Diagnose and resolve network outages within SLA timeframes
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network changes using ServiceNow and Visio
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud architecture projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 support to enterprise clients
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Junos CLI configuration
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid driver's license for on-site client visits
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
