Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot network issues including outages, latency, and security breaches
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, intrusion detection)
- Document network topologies, configurations, and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
