Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions for our core products.
- Weekend Operations: Manage critical system maintenance, security patches, and monitoring during designated weekend shifts to ensure zero downtime.
- Code Optimization: Analyze code for performance bottlenecks and refactor legacy systems to improve efficiency and speed.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee software reliability and reduce bugs.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Python, and modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Angular).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) as part of the core support team.
- DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills in a remote setting.
