Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize system efficiency
- Implement robust security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable network solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT/Networking or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper devices and virtualization platforms
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex issues
- Relevant industry certifications preferred (CCNP, CCIE)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license required
