Responsibilities
- Extract & Clean Data: Query large datasets using SQL and Python to ensure accuracy and integrity for the weekend reporting cycle.
- Performance Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Visual Analytics: Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data trends effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify data anomalies and propose solutions to optimize our data pipelines and reporting processes.
- Collaborative Analysis: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to support data-driven decision-making during the weekend hours.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformation logic, and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced queries), Python (Pandas/NumPy), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues independently.
