Responsibilities
- Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Visualize Data: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL & Data Mining: Write efficient SQL queries to extract data from multiple sources and perform complex data mining tasks.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling visual presentations for executive leadership and non-technical teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and recommend solutions to improve business operations and reporting accuracy.
- Equity Administration: Assist in the tracking and reporting of employee equity grants and related data analytics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work from Virginia Beach, VA or remotely from New York, NY as required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when handling large datasets.
