Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot data issues.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Performance Reporting: Generate regular, high-level reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and anomalies.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to support business forecasting and strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to identify data gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling data and preparing reports.
