Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test sophisticated prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and other large language models
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into optimized AI interactions
- Conduct prompt engineering experiments and document best practices
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness and model outputs
- Create reusable prompt libraries and standardized templates for enterprise use
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and industry benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering or NLP model development
- Proven track record of designing high-impact prompts for production systems
- Expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Strong understanding of language model capabilities and limitations
- Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
- Experience with A/B testing and prompt optimization techniques
