Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources into a structured format.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within business data.
- Reporting: Generate regular, comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data collection processes.
- A/B Testing: Support ongoing experimentation efforts by analyzing A/B test results to optimize product features and marketing campaigns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills required) and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Programming: Solid understanding of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling data and reporting metrics.
- Location: Must reside in the United States, preferably within the Boston, MA region.
