Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and encryption protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with global teams on threat intelligence and mitigation strategies
- Document security incidents and create executive-level reports
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift preference
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of network security and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
