Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Develop and execute incident response plans to mitigate security breaches effectively.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud infrastructure and network architecture.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong understanding of encryption standards and cryptographic protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stakes security incidents.
