Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate breaches in real-time.
- Pentesting & Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses in our network.
- Network Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal downtime.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Security Awareness: Develop training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
