Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans.
- Perform security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
