Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Monitoring: Utilize SIEM tools and security information management systems to analyze network traffic and identify potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, conducting post-incident analysis to prevent recurrence and mitigate damage.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments on on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure robust network security.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance standards across all departments.
- Penetration Testing: Collaborate with red team units to simulate cyberattacks and stress-test security protocols.
- Remote Security: Establish secure remote access protocols for distributed teams, ensuring data integrity regardless of location.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, network protocols, and experience with tools like Splunk, Snort, or Wireshark.
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong self-discipline.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security breaches under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
