Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or similar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and system compromises.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems.
- Perform regular security audits and provide executive reporting on security posture.
- Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and security trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and secure network architecture.
- Experience with forensic analysis tools and log management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
