Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and Sentinel SIEM platforms
- Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and coordinate remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Present security metrics and threat intelligence to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, threat detection, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and NIST frameworks
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
