Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic analysis on security incidents and implement remediation actions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across networks
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) strongly preferred
- Proficiency with security tools: IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid U.S. work authorization and clean background check required
