Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.</li><li>Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.</li><li>Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus solutions.</li><li>Respond to security alerts and manage incident response procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).</li><li>Manage user access controls and conduct regular audits of user permissions.</li><li>Prepare and present security reports to management to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related IT role.</li><li>Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GCIH are strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices.</li><li>Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and endpoint protection solutions.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
