Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Diagnose and resolve complex system outages, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash)
- Oversee network infrastructure (routers, switches, VPNs) and ensure optimal connectivity
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and implement business continuity plans
- Document IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and IT infrastructure
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise-level security frameworks
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python/Bash) for automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
