Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst at InnovateTech Ohio, you will:
- Drive Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Visualize Data: Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Technical Execution: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases and perform data modeling and ETL processes.
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, product) to understand their data needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Optimization: Continuously improve data collection procedures, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of using data to solve business problems and drive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analysis on large datasets to identify business trends and forecasting opportunities.
- Design and maintain data visualization dashboards to track project metrics and KPIs.
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and schemas.
- Generate regular business reports and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data mining techniques.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
