Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services for high-traffic applications
- Optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Agile methodologies
- Debug and resolve production issues with real-time monitoring tools
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
- Participate in on-call rotations (weekend shift)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, encryption)
