Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports with clear severity levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to troubleshoot issues
- Perform regression testing on new features and existing functionality
- Utilize JIRA, Selenium, and other QA tools to track defects and test coverage
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement processes
- Validate user acceptance criteria and compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case creation
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong understanding of bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
