Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve network outages with minimal service disruption
- Implement cybersecurity measures including VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cloud providers for hybrid network solutions
- Train junior staff on network protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Proficiency with Cisco and Juniper hardware
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
