Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery planning
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, PowerShell, or Terraform
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios or Zabbix
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with AWS/Azure and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
