Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for security anomalies and threats.
- Assist in the triage and investigation of security alerts and incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Update and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Participate in security simulations and red team exercises.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, OSI Model).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Security+).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
