Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Analyst to defend against evolving threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect organizational assets against cyber threats.
- Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and develop remediation plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of networks and applications.
- Assist with compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and generate required reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is a plus.
