Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Respond to and mitigate cyber threats, breaches, and security incidents promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT engineering and development teams to secure cloud and on-premise architectures.
- Perform threat hunting and forensic analysis to proactively identify risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with incident response methodologies and forensic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
