Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats across hybrid environments
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using advanced SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for vulnerability management
- Perform penetration testing and security assessments for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement 'security by design' principles
- Document security protocols and create executive threat briefings
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Proficiency in Python/Bash for security automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
- Ability to handle high-pressure incident response scenarios
