Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large, complex datasets.
- Design, build, and maintain advanced SQL queries and database models to support reporting and data warehousing needs.
- Develop and manage interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve data pipelines, data quality, and data governance standards.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and business requirements to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular, high-impact reporting to executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Python or R scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Data Scientist.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) with deep knowledge of query optimization.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
