Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and create detailed reports
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing protocols
- Develop and optimize security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network security posture
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
