Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across systems
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Manage cloud security infrastructure including AWS/Azure security services
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response coordination and forensic investigations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on incident response experience
- Strong expertise in network security, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in remote environments
