Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud, network, and data infrastructure
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports for regulatory standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with threat detection and response
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security protocols
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure during incidents
