Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security solutions for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for critical infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation using Python, PowerShell, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP)
- Mentor junior security engineers through knowledge sharing sessions
- Present security posture to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with focus on threat detection
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
- Demonstrated success in incident response scenarios
