Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms and threat intelligence tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate containment with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Collaborate on security architecture for cloud and hybrid environments
- Mentor junior team members and stay current with emerging cyber threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat detection
- Certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent)
- Experience with security tools: SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
