Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for malware/ransomware attacks
- Implement and maintain firewall/IPS configurations (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams on zero-trust architecture initiatives
- Lead quarterly tabletop exercises for incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10% of time
