Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and investigate security anomalies
- Lead incident response for breaches including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical systems
- Develop/implement security controls aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce zero-trust architecture principles
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Manage security tooling including EDR, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with SOC analyst or incident response roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection methodologies
- Hands-on experience with network forensics and malware analysis
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operations center
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
