Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN systems
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to identify and resolve issues
- Implement security measures including ACLs, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures using ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related incidents and service requests
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers (Wireshark)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
