Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks and network intrusions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of organizational systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
