Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation for security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
