Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop/implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds (CrowdStrike/Recorded Future)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC analyst, threat hunting, or incident response)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet), and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) for automation tasks
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
