Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and prioritize incident response
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and remediation plans
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening and compliance initiatives
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
- Present security metrics and risk assessments to leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and network protocols
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
