Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Lead incident response investigations and create comprehensive forensic reports
- Design and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Provide security awareness training to employees across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in security operations (SOC analyst, incident responder)
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
