Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to protect cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop security policies and procedures aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Maintain SIEM platforms and analyze security logs for threat detection
- Provide mentorship to junior security analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with proven threat management expertise
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, AWS/Azure security
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
