Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain local server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and cabling (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's data and network from cyber threats.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff, resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of applications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS).
- Expert knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) command line and package management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
