Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network devices, ensuring high-speed connectivity across all departments.
- Oversee system backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
- Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to optimize application performance and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration and Windows Server management.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Experience with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
