Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure high availability and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support to internal stakeholders, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Implement and monitor robust system backups, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to deploy new applications and infrastructure updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
