Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Optimize network performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives
- Document system configurations and create operational playbooks
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid architecture implementation
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven track record in high-availability infrastructure design
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and respond to incidents within 15 minutes
