Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments using AWS and Azure
- Manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Automate deployment and monitoring processes using Ansible, Terraform, and Nagios
- Ensure security compliance through rigorous patch management and vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical systems and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in system administration
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proven track record in designing high-availability infrastructure solutions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience in complex troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
