Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
- Monitor system performance and resolve security vulnerabilities proactively
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure
- Implement backup/DR solutions and conduct regular disaster recovery tests
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud integration (AWS/Azure)
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance standards
- Provide tier-3 technical support for critical systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
