Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and troubleshooting
- Document processes, create runbooks, and automate routine tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system migrations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience in Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security best practices, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified SysOps Admin) highly valued
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
